Nature League

As a member you will get an opportunity to join our weekly nature walks on trails in the beautiful Niagara Escarpment area and surrounding countryside. Click here for our walk and hike schedule. You will enjoy a picnic lunch sitting beside a steam or maybe on the bluffs enjoying a spectacular view of the valley below. You will be part of a very welcoming and friendly group who enjoy social evenings,an annual B.B.Q. and day outings to places of interest to our nature loving members. We also have the occasional fund raiser. All moneys raised from events, memberships and donations are given to local environmental groups involved in protection of the environment.

Free Spirit Tours

This summer come and join us on one of our super fun activities. Try canoeing or kayaking on either the Beaver River in the lovely Beaver Valley or the Nottawasaga River in Wasaga Beach. Sticking with the water theme, you can try sea kayaking out on Georgian Bay - and explore the Mary Ward Ship Wreck off Craigleith. Or try your hand at stand up paddle boarding in Wasaga Beach. This is one of the fastest growing summer sports and find out why. We also offer rock climbing and caving in a half day format. Kristin has had a passion for all things extreme since she was a little girl; involved in gymnastics for the better part of 3 decades, rock climbing since the age of 15, and spending many years working as a ski patroller and paramedic in the mountains of British Columbia. With over 20 years of coaching experience in gymnastics, Kristin has transitioned seamlessly into teaching circus arts. Mountain View Stables

Enjoy Trail and Pony Rides at Mountain View Stables set in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, 1 1/2 hours north of Toronto Ontario. We provide a horse-ranch experience coupled with local history and sightseeing. We have 183 acres of picturesque and mountain views. We cover all aspects of horsemanship and keep it safe but above all we have FUN! At Mountain View Stables we accept riders from 10 yrs of age and up for the trails. Our experienced staff will walk with or ride with children who are not fully capable of controlling their horses on their own, or who may be a bit nervous. Beginner riders are always welcome; we have quiet and dependable horses that are excellent if it's your first time. For children under 10 years of age, we have pony rides.

Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster

As Ontario’s first mountain coaster, The Ridge Runner offers an exciting downhill adventure at Blue Mountain. The coaster will take riders on an exhilarating trip through the escarpment’s varied terrain and thrilling glades for over 1,000 metres downhill. The driver takes control of their own speed travelling down the track with access to a manual brake, providing speeds of up to 42 km/h. Take a scenic ride down the mountain to enjoy views of Georgian Bay and the Niagara Escarpment, and push your limits as you zigzag through the trees!
