The Georgian Trail begins / ends in the east at Collingwood’s Harbourview Park and near Meaford Harbour in the west. From Craigleth to Meaford, the trail runs near Hwy. 26 West with numerous access points along the way including: Northwinds Beach, Craigleith Prov. Park (Day-pass required), Council and Peasmarsh Beach, The village of Thornbury Harbour and Bayview Park and Meaford Harbour. There is also parking at Harbourview Park in Collingwood from where the trail heads west to Craigleith.

The Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and longest footpath, provides the only continuous public access to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. It is one of only fifteen such reserves in all of Canada. Our Area of the Bruce Trail runs from Lavender to Craigleith.The terrain changes abruptly as the Bruce Trail enters the area known as the Blue Mountains. Here are Ontario's best-known ski resorts, set among high bluffs interspersed with deep wide valleys. From the Trail, there are excellent views of the rolling countryside and Nottawasaga Bay. Our area has wonderful hiking opportunities year round. Come on out and enjoy them. We hope to see you on our trails.

The Town of Collingwood trail system has over 60 kilometres of trails spread out throughout Collingwood. Visit Harbourlands Park, Harbourview Park, Sunset Point Park, along the Pretty River dyke, and throughout other scenic parts of Collingwood as your explore the trails. Recent additions include a lovely extension of the Sunset Point Trail, and the Black Ash Trail which runs along the Black Ash Creek. The trail runs along the creek all the way to the Georgian Trail behind the Collingwood Centre.
