Sitting Pretty Chairs for Charity is in its second season. This annual charity event, which runs from June 1st – June 17th (silent auction closes at 4pm) raises funds for the G&M Hospital Foundation and it’s quite innovative in the way it works.

Come to down town Collingwood and visit Robinson’s Paint & Wallpaper, Christie’s, Design Gallery, Cottage Country Crafts, Three Peas in a Pod, Out on a Whim, Graphic Wear House, Music Room, Gabriele Photography and Marlin Travel. All destination shops are located on Hurontario Street.

Each store has an original chair that has been painted or hand designed. Look for the SPONSOR BANNER in the participating store window. Go in and bid for the chair or chairs that you want. The winning bidder will be called on Monday June 18th. Come and support your down town merchants and hospital at the same time. All money raised will go to obstetrical equipment at the G&M Hospital.
