Nearly 1000 athletes from around the world are descending upon Collingwood for the 6th annual UG BeachWOD Functional Fitness Festival at Millennium Park.

More than just a competition, UG BeachWOD has expanded to Canada's largest 3 day outdoor functional fitness festival.

At the heart of UG BeachWOD, is the competition, which involves athletes competing in multiple workouts and multiple division, throughout the weekend. Friday will see RX (elite) & Masters (35-44 & 45+) Individuals along with the WheelWOD Adaptive Athletes competing from 2pm-9pm. On Saturday, RX (elite) & Semi Pro Teams will compete along with the WheelWOD Adaptive Athlete Comp and Championship, and on Sunday, Amateur, Beginner and Masters (35+) Teams will compete.

This is the 2nd year that the WheelWOD Adaptive Athlete Competition has joined UG BeachWOD, this division features both Standing athletes (athletes missing limbs) and seated athletes (athletes in WheelChairs) and has athletes coming from as far as Brazil, Spain and the USA to compete in Collingwood this weekend.

Aside from the competition however, UG BeachWOD offers a large spectator experience. From an extensive vendor village, to healthy kids play zone, parkour, standup paddle boarding, and clinic/demo area with top notch coaching, (Including a Strongman Demo at 3pm on Saturday featuring 5 of Canada's Strongest men!) The spectator experience is completely free for everyone to enjoy!
