The Environment Network has moved and is opening an exciting and timely new retail shop.  What on earth can you purchase at a shop called the Environment Network?  All sorts of stuff that helps the environment, you and your family of course!

A preview visit to the store located at 44 St. Marie Street was a real eye opener.

Still in the process of receiving new products every day in preparation for the grand opening celebrations scheduled for Wednesday, April 18th, 19th and 22nd got a sneak preview and this is what we found:

• Energy efficient light bulbs
• Recycled Aluminum Foil
• Garbage bags
• Stainless steel lunch containers
• Hemp cloth sandwich and snack wrappers
• Stainless steel children’s dishes (makes a great baby shower gift!)
• Skin care products
• Hair care products
• Baby products
• Paper products including stationary, journals, photo albums and computer paper
• Cleaning supplies
• Laundry supplies
• Coffee and Teas

This is just a short example and there are many more products available.  The best part is in doing a quick check, the prices are extremely reasonable, and likely less than you would expect to pay.  A very funky looking recycled paper journal was selling for only $6.99.  A beautiful stainless steel children’s starter dish set was selling for only $20.

All of the products have been extensively researched to offer customers the best choice when purchasing.

“Environmental challenges abound as our daily actions pollute and degrade the fragile environment that humans and wildlife depend on to survive.  By opening our Shoppe, we are hoping to eliminate those nasty chemicals that pollute and degrade, by offering alternatives to keep the environment, and aquatic system clean and your health at its best.”

You can find out more about the Environment Network by visiting their website and you can also check out the upcoming Environment Network workshops and events listed here that are very educational and free of charge, however, as space is limited, advance registration is recommended.  To register, call us at 705-446-0551 or e-mail -

Be sure to come by the new shop and enjoy the grand opening celebrations, April 18th, 19th, and 22nd.  Contribute by participating in the most celebrated environmental event worldwide.
