Morris Kansun, President of Sierra Building Group, along with Collingwood Mayor Sandra Cooper and Members of Council, gathered on Thursday to Break Ground at The Enclave, the fourth phase of the master-planned golf course community Tanglewood.

Nestled amidst the Niagara Escarpment and stunning Georgian Bay, Tanglewood flanks the lush fairways of the Atoka Golf Course at Cranberry Resort.

The Enclave is an intimate collection of 26 luxurious bungalow loft townhomes featuring newly introduced designs ranging in size from 1458 to over 2250 square feet (up to 3400 square feet with finished walk-out basement), most of which open directly onto Atoka, Canada’s first Audubon Society certified golf course.

The master-planned community will eventually comprise over 600 town villas, street towns and bungalow towns, approximately 110 of which have already been built. “We thank Mayor Cooper and Council for their support of our long-term vision for this master-planned community.  My family has long enjoyed Collingwood as a four-season paradise and we are honoured to build homes for other families to make their memories here,” says Morris Kansun, President and founder of Sierra Building Group in advance of the official construction dig. “We are excited to start construction of this next phase of Tanglewood. With direct access to the Georgian Trail, only minutes from the restaurants, boutiques and galleries of downtown Collingwood, and close access to the area’s ski resorts and recreational activities, the possibilities are endless in the heart of your own community when you become a homeowner here,” adds Kansun. Residents are also investing in an active lifestyle that includes access to the future 15,000 square foot Tanglewood Club. The Club will contain an indoor/outdoor pool with outdoor hot tub, a luxury spa, restaurant, fitness room, multifunction room, kitchen, business centre, indoor golf with a high-end golf simulator, an outdoor tennis court, as well as several lounge and deck areas.

Tanglewood is the perfect locale from which to enjoy the area’s four-season amenities. Close proximity to Georgian Bay is a delight for boaters, swimmers or kayakers alike. For the avid golfer, Tanglewood is minutes from an array of public and private courses, plus other adventures including nearby horseback riding and mountain biking trails.

These mountain style homes are loaded with modern conveniences. The Enclave’s spacious open concept homes (most of which have walk-out basements) come well appointed as a tranquil retreat or entertainer’s dream including: gourmet kitchens with granite counter tops, hardwood flooring in living and dining areas and sumptuous master bedrooms on the main level. Loft layouts create an inviting area for family and friends with plans from two to four bedrooms. Plus ample storage space allows for easy stowing of off-season gear and many homes include double-car garages.

Tanglewood offers the best of all worlds as a full-time residence or a recreational retreat at prices within reach. Homes are scheduled for delivery in Spring 2012 and start at $329,900.
