Wasaga Beach, known for its "Longest Fresh Water Beach in the World", and being Ontario's Premier Summer time destination. Georgian Triangle Music Festival brings a multi-genre, multi-venue, music festival, to this beautiful destination, and is making its second appearance, across Wasaga Beach, July 4th, 5th, & 6th, 2014. Beginning in 2013, the festival brought 5 venues, and over 60 musical acts together, for an amazing weekend of fun, sun, and music.
Rock Hop Music Canada Presents: Georgian Triangle Music Festival, July 4th, 5th, & 6th, 2014 at multiple venues, in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. This weekend music festival will bring 7 venues, with over 30 musical acts, to music fans, for a weekend of great tunes, for every age group, with talented musicians from across Ontario performing, various musical genres, and will be spread out at different locations throughout Wasaga Beach. Venues include, Barcelos Restaurant & Grill, The Beacon Restaurant, Sunshine Park, Boston Pizza, Wild Wing, Wasaga Beach Public Library, and the Not So Pro Beach Volleyball Beer Garden. These great local businesses, give patrons the opportunity, to enjoy music of their taste, and check out any one of these local venues, FREE of charge. Genres of music include, and range from Rock, to Hip-Hop, to Country, to Jazz, to Singer-Songwriter, and also Cover Artists/Bands, just to name a few. The Library will be host to a "Youth Open Stage" July 5th from 1pm to 3pm. Youth can register, for 15 minute performance spots, and information can be found at our website. Volunteers are required for the festival, and are encouraged to participate, we are meeting June 18th, at Wild Wing (Wasaga Beach) 6pm.Â
Georgian Triangle Music Festival is also providing a "Shuttle Service" in partnership with Georgian Shores Transportation, on July 4th & 5th, 2014 from 9pm to 1am, and will travel continuously to each active venue throughout the night. Patrons can purchase a wristband from the driver for $5.00 and is good for "ONE NIGHT ONLY"
