Farmers Market Back for 2012
 Decrease font

The Collingwood Downtown Farmers’ Market is returning on Saturday May 19th for its 9th year! This 100 mile market is the only place to be on Saturdays as your weekend begins.

Come rain or sweet sunshine, fresh picked food is always available.  Fruits, vegetables, meats, herbs, maple syrup, honey and much more are certain to tempt your tastebuds.

Located in the Pine Street parking lot at the corner of Pine and Second streets, the Farmers’ Market is the place to come and meet the vendors who nurtured seedlings into plants, picked the fruit, pulled the vegetables and loaded their trucks early to bring their products to town. This offers a great opportunity to have a chat with primary producers as well as to learn about their products and how to prepare them. What a great way for you to connect with the land!

The Market is growing again! Many of your favorite vendors are returning and several new ones are getting produce and products prepared for your enjoyment.

Start a new tradition by walking, biking or driving every weekend to the Collingwood Downtown Farmers’ Market:  come for your health, come for your pleasure, come for the bounty every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.!
