Currie’s is a Seasonal Farm Market specializing in providing their customers with fresh local produce daily, the majority of which is grown right outside their back door. All of their produce is harvested at the peak of ripeness and flavour and has been sustainably produced on their farm since 1957. Currie’s Farm Market has been open since mid-June for strawberry season, and offers seasonal fruits and vegetables throughout the summer and fall. |

On their farm, they specialize in raspberries, potatoes, peas, beets, zucchini, corn, tomatoes, and a variety of herbs and lettuce. And what they don’t grow themselves we try to find locally so that everything in the store has that just-picked flavour. When you visits Currie’s you can leave with everything you need to make a meal using ingredients from local farms – right down to your dessert. Here’s some of what’s in store: Located at the corner of Sixth Street and the Tenth Line, right across from the Georgian Meadows subdivision. So stop by Currie’s and support local farmers! Some how dinner just tastes better when you do that! |
