Curries Farm Market
 Decrease font

Currie’s is a Seasonal Farm Market specializing in providing their customers with fresh local produce daily, the majority of which is grown right outside their back door.  All of their produce is harvested at the peak of ripeness and flavour and has been sustainably produced on their farm since 1957.
Currie’s Farm Market has been open since mid-June for strawberry season, and offers seasonal fruits and vegetables throughout the summer and fall.

On their farm, they specialize in raspberries, potatoes, peas, beets, zucchini, corn, tomatoes, and a variety of herbs and lettuce. And what they don’t grow themselves we try to find locally so that everything in the store has that just-picked flavour.

When you visits Currie’s you can leave with everything you need to make a meal using ingredients from local farms – right down to your dessert. Here’s some of what’s in store:
• Local organic flours, grains and pasta from Grassroots Organics
• Harmony organic milk and cheese
• Local, traditionally raised meat from Blue Ridge Meats in Collingwood
• Freshly baked bread from The Bakery in Flesherton, made using local organic flour
• A selection of garlicky products from The Garlic Box to enhance the flavours of your fresh produce, including salad dressing and a wonderful garlic mash potato seasoning made using only fresh Ontario garlic
• Locally made jams, jellies, pickles and peppers
• Freshly baked pies, cookies and tarts from Blue Mountain Gourmet in Heathcote
• Ashanti Coffee
The folks at Currie’s are also excited to be serving Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream cones (and yes, they have Moose Tracks!). Kawartha Dairy ice cream is made the old fashioned way, with 100% Canadian fresh milk and fresh cream. Stop by to sample one of the eight flavours available.  They have also officially opened the Currie’s Market Coffee Bar, and they are serving up cappuccinos, lattes, cafe Americano and regular brewed Ashanti coffee daily.
Our hours of operation are:
Monday – Friday 9-7
Saturday-Sunday 9-6

Located at the corner of Sixth Street and the Tenth Line, right across from the Georgian Meadows subdivision.

So stop by Currie’s and support local farmers!  Some how dinner just tastes better when you do that!
