Collingwood Festival for Canada

Celebrate the country in which we live and the community we call home at the Collingwood Festival for Canada, Saturday, June 30th and Sunday, July 1st in Downtown Collingwood!  Enjoy a full line-up of activities for the entire family including pancake breakfasts, a fishing derby, strolling entertainment, live music, and the return of the Collingwood Idol Singing Competition. 

Of course Canada Day wouldn’t be complete without the traditional Citizenship Reaffirmation Ceremony, gigantic Canada Day birthday cake, and spectacular fireworks! 

Saturday kicks off with:
• Farmers’ Market, 8:30am – 1pm, in the Pine Street Parking Lot
• Pancake Breakfast, 9am – 12pm, at the Farmers’ Market
• Collingwood Optimist Kids Fishing Derby, 8am – 12pm, at the Collingwood Harbour
• Georgian Bay Artisan Market, 10am – 4pm, at Arts Street at Tremont Lane
• Strolling Buskers, 11am – 4pm, throughout downtown
• Live Music featuring Touch of Vinyl, 11am – 4pm, at The Peak FM stage on Hurontario   between Third and Fourth
• Free Family Carnival, 11am – 3pm, at the Collingwood Museum
• Collingwood Idol Qualifiers, 1pm – 5pm, at the Federal Building

Sunday features:
• Pancake Breakfast prepared by Celebrity Chefs! 8am – 11am, in front of Town Hall
• Collingwood Men’s Progress Club Rubber Duck Race, 2pm, at the Pretty River
• Strolling Buskers, 12pm – 4pm, throughout downtown
• Live Music featuring White Noise Machine with Jason Redman, 12pm – 4pm, at The Peak FM stage on Hurontario between Third and Fourth
• Citizenship Reaffirmation Ceremony & Gigantic Canada Day Birthday Cake, 12pm, at the Federal Building
• Free Family Carnival, 12pm – 4pm, at the Collingwood Museum
• Collingwood Idol Qualifiers, 1pm – 5pm, at the Federal Building
• Collingwood Idol Judges “Show Us How It’s Done” Concert, 7pm, at the Waterfront Amphitheatre
• Collingwood Idol Finals, 8:30pm, at the Waterfront Amphitheatre
• Fireworks, at dark, best viewing from the Amphitheatre and along the Waterfront Promenade
