The Blue Mountain Village Foundation is pleased to announce that a donation was made to Canadian Mental Health Association-Grey Bruce. A donation of $2,600 was presented to the organization on February 11th, 2016 at 10 am in the Blue Mountain Village in front of Sunset Grill. April Robinson, Fundraising & Event Coordinator, Dylan Hodgson and Jackie Ralph, Youth Awareness - FAN Club and Let's Talk programs will receive a cheque from Foundation board members; Stacy Manning, and Troy Speck.
"The Foundation reviewed many applications for funds and all were very deserving," says Andrew Siegwart, President of the Foundation. "We chose to support the Friends and Neighbours (F.A.N.) Club program which brings children's mental health awareness to children ages 4 to 11."
"At Canadian Mental Health Association our mission is good mental health for all. We believe that mental health awareness needs to start from Day 1.
This funding will be used to provide mental health awareness directly to children and youth within the Georgian Triangle. It's important to us that our local children and youth have the best tools possible in their mental health tool belts." says Jackie Ralph, Youth Coordinator.
The Blue Mountain Village Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our local communities through its financial support of registered charitable organizations whose activities provide benefit to the residents of our local communities, with an emphasis on children and family programs.
