Bricks For Books Campaign
 Decrease font

On January 24, 2008, the Collingwood Public Library launched the second phase of its exciting $500,000 Capital Fundraising Campaign.

The “Bricks for Books” campaign involves the sale of original Palace Livery bricks.  These bricks will be sold individually and in groups, identified with a permanent, personalized engraved plaque.

The bricks will then be incorporated into one of the “Pillars of the Community”, a series of architecturally designed columns lining the main walkway through the second storey of the new building.

Payments for these donations may be paid over a five year period.  Charitable tax receipts will be issued for the amount donated each year.

Funds raised through all of the Library’s Capital Campaign events will support the purchase of furnishings, fixtures and equipment for the new Library.

Please contact the Collingwood Public Library at: (705) 445-1571 or email address: clib@collingwoodpubliclibrary.ca should you require further information.
