365 Sports in partnership with Hanna Ford & the Town of Collingwood are thrilled to present the inaugural HoHo Holiday 5k! A sea of red and white Santa's will take over the streets and trails of Georgian Bay to celebrate the start of the holidays while giving back to kids in the community. Participants are invited to bring their friends, family, neighbours, colleagues and teams for the most festive run of the season with net proceeds benefitting Healthy Kids Community Challenge Collingwood.

"As a father of three, I know how important programs like youth mentorship and cultivating and supporting the overall well being of children is, especially during those crucial development years. Hosting this event in Collingwood, a place that I am fortunate to call home, and working with these two great organizations make this a perfect way to kick-start the holiday season." - Tony Smith, CEO 365 Sports.

Every runner receives a 5k Trail run, Santa Suit, medal, bib, string bag, limited edition bracelet, access to the festival areal, free photos and most importantly they are supporting an incredible cause.

"We are excited to be a part of the HoHoHoliday Run, celebrating the Holiday Season with outdoor, active, community fun.  Funds raised as part of the event will help support afterschool food skills programs introduced as part of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge in each of our local elementary schools" said Jennifer Parker, Local Project Manager of Collingwood Healthy

Kids Community Challenge

The partnership is a natural fit for locally based events company 365 Sports whose mandate is to provide fitness, fun and philanthropy. "365 Sports is focused on healthy active events, promoting fun fitness initiatives in communities. We are thrilled to be working with the Town of Collingwood, Hanna Ford and so many great local companies to get running start to the holidays." - Mike Lambert, Director of Marketing & Partnerships, 365 Sports Inc.

Christmas in Collingwood kicks off at the Second & Pine parking lot Saturday, November 18th packet pick-up open at 8:00am with the Ho-Ho-Holiday 5k starting at 10:00am followed by the Santa Claus parade, ceremonial tree lighting, and fireworks.

Theme 1: Run. Jump. Play Every Day. promotes physical activity through active play, active transportation and sports activities.

Theme 2: Water Does Wonders, encourages choosing water as your first choice of drink throughout the day.

Theme 3: Choose to Boost Veggies and Fruit encourages kids and families to make vegetables and fruit a part of every meal and snack. Vegetables and fruit both contain important nutrients for children's growing bodies.
